A Castellation profile is reminiscent of the top of a castle wall with a series of parapets and alternating rectangular carvings. Castellation has once again become a popular architectural trend in contemporary and stylish commercial and residential projects.
On a facade, it achieves the appearance of parallel castellated wooden slats with a narrow shadow line, or rebate, between each one.
